Life has been so busy...

So wow, it has been forever since i have blogged. i apologize for that!
this semester has been absolutely crazy.
my classes are pretty difficult this semester so it has been a struggle staying motivated and not getting super down about nursing... lets just say many motivational talks have occurred with my parents to keep me pushing through with nursing school. i love to love on the patients but i hate the tests and school work that comes along with it. the school stresses me out... so i am just trying to get motivated even more so that i can make it to the end! my favorite verse comes to mind: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"- Philippians 4:13.
Other than school this semester, Reagan and I have been busy getting ready for the wedding. we are doing pre-marital counseling with a pastor from our church and our lead pastor from our church and his wife. it has been so beneficial and i have loved it. it has been so nice learning so much more about Reagan and things that we can both improve on to make our marriage even better. we have both also loved being back at TCAL!! Reagan is the youth leader for TCAL and is loving every minute of it. it has been so awesome having family and friends surround us who love us so much. this life decision has been one of the most beneficial and best decisions we made together as a couple. we have loved getting to grow together in a family of faith. also, Reagan and I are in a community group on Sunday nights and the home group is called the 7 "F's" in marriage. the topics we have talked about have been so awesome... we have talked about how to make your marriage a friendship and other topics like that. it has given Reagan and I great insight and it has been awesome to hear from people that have been married for a long time or newly married couples. we are definitely learning a lot that is even better preparing us for our marriage.
Reagan and I are also becoming so excited for our wedding day... just a little over 8 months and we will be married! we can't believe it but this is one of the most exciting times in our lives! we are also about to celebrate our 4 year anniversary of dating in November... wow how time flies! it is so awesome knowing that i am getting to marry my best friend on June 12,2010... i wouldn't have it any other way.
Oh other wedding news... almost all of my bridesmaids have ordered their dresses.. so i am really excited about that! it has been so awesome to see the different styles that every girl has picked and how well it compliments their personalities! they are all going to look so gorgeous... i can't wait :)
Oh, my parents also threw us an engagement celebration party at their house in San Antonio! it was so much fun!!! Reagan and I were so grateful for all the friends and family that came, we had an absolute blast. Pappasitos (did i spell that right?) catered and there was a DJ and tables and awesome lights strung all through our backyard... it was so amazing! we ate and danced the night away... i wouldn't have had it any other way... oh and Reagan's mom came all the way from Nebraska so we were really excited to see her! pictures of that night are also on facebook for anyone who can look!!

Also, Reagan and I took our engagement photos at the beginning of this semester. Bludoor studios took them and they turned out absolutely amazing! for any of you that have a facebook there is a full album of them on my page.. so enjoy!
This year is going by so fast, i can't believe it is almost the end of October... where is the year going!? kinda makes me excited though.. because before I know it I will be Mrs. Farish... so crazy but i can't wait!!!! :)
Well i hope everyone is having a fabulous day... and I will try to get better at getting on here so that I can update everyone with wedding stuff, etc.

"Life might not always be the party we had hoped for, but as long as we are here we might as well dance!!"
